I like this product because it is a pure product without a lot of fillers. This substance aids circulation, stimulates the immune system, and increases tissue oxygenation. Many health care professionals also feel CoQ10 is of use in fighting obesity, candidiasis, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes as well as schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease. Research also supports evidence that coenzyme Q10 has the ability to counter histamine thereby possibly making it beneficial to those suffering from allergies, asthma, and respiratory disorders.

The really wonderful thing about this product - and, in fact, all of Metabolic Maintenance - is that they source none of their ingredients from China, known for it's mind-blowing levels of pollution, among other problems. I have always prescribed very high doses of CoQ-10 for my patients with Parkinson's, Cancer and serious kidney disease. In the beginning, when I didn't know to avoid Chinese products, all those patients developed serious joint pain. Once I realized the pattern, I changed them to Metabolic Maintenance's product, which is sourced from Japan. These patients lost their joint pain. And, no other high-dose CoQ-10 patient has developed the same symptom, or any other negative side-effect. For this, and other reasons, I couldn't recommend Metabolic Maintenance more highly.

This product is a part of my nutritional healing protocol for undermethylation. I take it with my evening supplements and this brand was specifically recommended. I trust that it is helping my body heal and detox and methylate properly.
